James Koban is a co-founder of Global Commission Alliance. He is a worship leader and preacher with a heart to see people meet Jesus through song and through the Word.
On the November 2025 outreach in Buriram, Thailand, James led worship from the stage of the mini gospel truck as people gathered in the open air. He also preached in local churches, with a Thai translator carrying every word to the people in their own language.
For James the goal is simple. Help people encounter God, then leave them in the care of local pastors who will walk with them long after the team flies home.
Like his fellow co-founders, James pays for his own ministry travel and receives nothing from the foundation.
